Facilitates bookmarks for our “You’ve Been Caught Reading” program	Provided banners for our after-school program “Camp at Sunset”	Features artwork of a selected Sunset Elementary student on their holiday cards
Together with American Food & Wine Institute, facilitated “Days of Taste” to a fifth grade class where students had the opportunity to tour the store, hand pick items for the preparation of lunch, and observe a chef put it all together.	Supports teacher workshops in “Visual Thinking Strategies” where using art enables students to think, observe, and communicate	Participates in KAPOW (Kids and the Power of Work), by providing classroom lessons that connect school with the work force.
Facilitate presentations by children's author's and offers book signing opportunities

The Dade Partners Program seeks to formalize relationships between schools and businesses/organizations to bring resources together to support educational success in our schools. Their mission is:

To mobilize and channel resources into the school system, based on targeted strategic goals
To engage stakeholders by serving as the vehicle to foster a greater understanding of the school system and its programs
To provide role models for students
To enhance communication between Miami-Dade County Schools and the community
To promote a positive environment for education and businesses.
