Children must be six on or before September 1st in order to be eligible to enter first grade

Satisfactory completion of entry test for first grade applicants or Foreign Language Proficiency Screening for second through fifth grade applicants

INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING APPLICATION PROCESS
When submitting an application to the International Studies Magnet Program at Sunset Elementary School, it is imperative that you first complete and submit the Official School of Choice and Parental Options Magnet Schools Application. The application form is available online at http://choice.dadeschools.net. Failure to complete and submit the application will result in the application not being processed. Once the choice and parental options Magnet School Application is completed and submitted, continue with the Sunset International Studies Magnet Program application procedures
Before turning in or mailing the application packet, please use the checklist provided below to ensure that all necessary documents are included. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
