Transportation
School Board Rule 6GX13-6A-1.46
governs the transportation policy at Sunset Elementary School. Accordingly,
public transportation will only be provided for students who live in excess of
two miles from Sunset Elementary School and within the boundaries of the
identified transportation service zones.
Prior to final acceptance of a student to Sunset Elementary
School, the parents or guardians must sign an agreement of understanding
acknowledging that transportation will only be provided for their child as long
as they reside within Sunset Elementary School’s transportation service zones.
Eligibility for transportation is determined by the
location of the student's residence and not necessarily by the elementary school
the child attended. The student must live within the boundaries of the
identified transportation service zones to be eligible for transportation.
